Hello chat, wanted to post an update on what I've been getting up to. I've entered the LBX 2025 Easter Egg contest with a few other members of the Concept Art Association, and honestly? For only having two days to work on the project, it's turned out AMAZING so far. I'll post the final version with process pics once we're done with the project formally, but it's going great, honestly.

It does suck that the deadline ends at 9am PST, meaning I stayed up all night to work. But, thems the breaks. I did a good 30% of the work alongside my 3 teammates, and I'm happy to say I did a good chunk of the lifting! Anyways check out this illustration from a video piece I have been experimenting with, based on the music video for Butcher Vanity.

I have unfortunately come down with the flu. So now I have to work through the sickness and try to get some stuff done!

In the meantime, one update to share is that I will be participating in Lightbox Expo's "Easter Egg Challenge" this weekend. So expect a collaborative project soon between me and a few big art directors in the concept art world!

I was having a conversation with my good friend Havoc, and we were talking about how much we missed the casual atmosphere of old school Deviant Art, and how it sucked that most people left Deviant Art for the more professional ArtStation, rather than continuing on a more casual site. Then, we heard that NewGrounds really cleaned up it's act from the early days, and decided to give it a try. So, nice to meet all of you!
